Souvlaki Boys Grill

I frequented Souvlaki Boys when they first opened in 2014/2015 and I lived a few doors down on W James St. Moved out of state for a number of years and returned recently. Happy to say the food is still consistently delicious and the staff is always kind and welcoming. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, which I personally love. Stays quiet and is probably why they can keep their prices so reasonable. I will always recommend.

Small shop with lots of Greek menu items to choose from. There's plenty of seating for small groups or individuals dining alone. I had the Hercules Gyro with pork. I have to say the tziki sauce didn't have enough garlic, the meat could use more seasoning and if you put pre-cut onions and tomatoes on they wet down the whole thing. I think the lack of flavor could have been easily overcome if you dusted the finished product with some zatar. Just bland to me.

I got the Atheta with Gyro meat without onion, and shared an order of fries. It was amazing.... and portions are big! Great value. Staff was kind as well. :)

This is a small fast-style eatery. The key dishes are gyros, bowls, and feasts. These are built from the base proteins: gyro, pork, chicken, beefteki, falafel, or cheese. Every single dish is wonderful but I have to give a shout out especially to Avgolemono soup. This is a blended chicken cream soup with a lemon flavor. It’s the best chicken soup I’ve ever had.

Great Greek restaurant! We went here for the first time and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The inside was cute and had some Greek decor and blue colors. I got a gyro, and it was very good, and my husband got the chicken souvlaki and it was very good and seasoned. Even the baklava was delicious and had a nice cinnamon flavor to it. Great place and definitely recommend it.
