Southworth Library

I often visit this library with my infant. They have an awesome kids section with lots of toys and opportunities for him to engage with books. We love attending their free community events.

Very nice, clean, well organized library with a great selection of books and movies to checkout. Even have a decent amount of video games on hand as well. Several computers to access and to print things if needed. Many chairs and benches around the library to sit and relax and do some work or a little reading. Helpful and friendly staff. A small parking lot, but there is also street parking available as well

Dear library staff: thank you so much for your focus on wholesome books in this library! Your selection of children's books is really great, and we love the play area in the front full of imagination-based toys. We have watched other libraries introduce more computers, tablets, and video games. In a society where those things are everywhere now (including schools) and kids' attention spans are affected, it's such a wonderful thing to have a library that is an oasis away from that, where kids can focus on love of reading.

We love our visits to the library! Story hour with Miss Diane and Miss Jenn are always so fun. The themed stories, craft and snacks are so well thought out. Sometimes we even get free books to keep! Love our library.

Southworth Library was a warm, bright experience. Good lighting. The interior seems more spacious due to social distancing. Yet, everything is close at hand. The staff is very welcoming and there is on street parking if the library lot is full. Good access in the center of downtown Dryden.
