Went there for the 1st time today(Feb.20,2026) about 15mins before they closed. I wanted banana pudding and looked around at other bakeries and they were the only one i could fine to have good looking banana pudding.(pictures on google make a difference). The lady there was very warm and inviting; Great customer service. Also the place looked and smelled very clean. I just got home and immediately ate one of the pink breaded strawberry cupcakes and My gosh! It was delicious! Idk how long the cupcakes were sitting there in the store but it was just before closing and they still are good. The texture was nice and moist and no hate to the cupcake place on hillcrest but this cupcake was better than any cupcake ive had at the place on hillcrest! Im sure the others i bought will be just as good.

My daughter brings me cupcakes from here and oh my Lord! They are Heavenly! Run do not walk and get you a Biscoff cupcake, or ya know 12!!! :) They are Incredibly delicious and so so moist. The flavor is unlike any cupcake I've ever had. The banana pudding one is amazing as well! I would add photos but I already ate them, they were so good!

The cupcakes are absolutely delicious so fresh, soft, and full of flavor! You can really tell they’re made with care. And the baked potatoes are amazing too! They’re perfectly cooked, fluffy inside, and packed with great flavor. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend! 🧁🥔😋

This is my favorite locally-owned bakery! When I want a sweet treat, I get to Southern Sweets because I know she'll have what I'm looking for. I typically will buy a lemon pound cake slice (my favorite), red velvet cake slice, brownies and/or cupcakes every time I visit. I always enjoy the food because it is fresh and it tastes great! My children absolutely love the brownies and when they are with me, they ask for those. Every now and then they'll ask for a cupcake. The owner is always courteous and truly cares about her customers' experience in the store. I haven't tried the lemonade, but I plan on trying that very soon. Southern Sweets really showed out, okay?! I ordered two sweet potato pies, one red velvet (no nuts), and a lemon drizzle pound cake, and when I say MOIST? I mean the kind of moist that makes you close your eyes and hum. This was my first holiday order and it was a 10/10 — would eat again with no regrets. I usually just run in for cupcakes or birthday cakes for my kids, but baybehhh… these holiday desserts done unlocked a new level. Check my girl out!
