The staff were incredibly friendly which made for a great start to the visit. Overall, the food was pretty good. The coleslaw was a little bland for my taste, so I added some dressing to it when I got home. I’d love to come back and try the brunch tacos and burgers next time😙
Somehow, this place transcended the considerable and well deserved hype. Bustling, popular spot with excellent staff. I went for a 2 and 2 with brisket (melt in your mouth fatty cut, the stuff of dreams), barbacurry (show stealing miracle of a dish, gorgeous beef with curry and cilantro), cardamom cornbread (surely, enough said), and a refreshing slaw. Traveling solo, I found a seat at the bar and didn't have to stand in the long line. But I would have! A must hit spot in wonderful Buffalo, New York!
This is the closest thing you can get to authentic Texas BBQ without being in Texas. Flavor is insane, bbq sauces are tasty and the spicy sauce is actually very spicy 🥵 (I loved it) There was also a cheese dipping sauce option as well which was spicy and creamy, a surprisingly valid sauce option along with the bbq sauces. Brisket is so tender an infant with no teeth can eat it unsupervised. Kielbasa was valid, and the pastrami rib was solid; too much fat for me personally but the meaty parts were Smokey and tender with a little bite to it. You can see the cinnamon roll in the picture, need I say more about that? Whole plate pictured was $58 and was able to be shared by 2 and we both were full after. (Took the cinnamon roll home) If you go for brunch the menu gets a little freaky and a l
We had a great meal tried 5 of the different meats available and each one was delicious in its own way. You can’t go wrong with any pick here. Definitely show up hungry! The seating area is relatively limited but we came in on a Friday around 5:30 and got a table for 2 and it didn’t seem like anyone was with no seating.
Best BBQ I’ve had and I’ve had BBQ from the south. The sides are amazing. I got the Turkey and the ribs. Ive also had the brisket before. The corn bread muffin is perfection. Love the mac and cheese with cornbread crumbs. Also i got the Texas twinky- Jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and brisket, wrapped in bacon and smoked. Awesome
