Southern Chicken

Honestly good amazing diner, you seat yourself, go to the buffet and the ladies that were checking in on the guest were lovely! I will be coming back with family next time.

The buffet selection is small and limited but the food was good! Fried chicken was juicy and tasty. BBQ pork with some slaw and hot sauce was good. Side items like mash potatoes, collard greens, beans were all good. Did not like the mac and cheese. It was bland. Deserts were great! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and for the price, it’s worth it.

I’m a local it’s good spot if you’re hungry and want southern cooking. It’s a small buffet place with a menu you can order off. I usually get Buffet. I remember when the building use to be a Taco Bell’s and I was disappointed when Taco Bell’s closed. But since they in there now. At least I’m somewhat happy. Taco Bell’s and southern food are no way alike but. Just proving that I’m a local it’s by this knowledge only a local would know. Also they do take out or call in. Haven’t done that before but I sure it’s reasonable. Only reason why rated a 4 instead of 5 cuz it is what it is. I feel like anything that’s a 5 should be top notch and have a true WOW factor. Nice quite cozy place, free from a lot of the usual tourist. Never had the buffet but the staff kept it nice and stocked the whole time Chicken is nice, not overly crispy and juicy. If you get wings keep in mind they take awhile to come out so get some sides or some tenders to munch on while you wait Want something nice and simple with a cozy quiet atmosphere. Come on in.

We used Google maps to search for a meat and three location. The reviews were good so we decided we’d give it a try for lunch time. The reviews didn’t lie. The chicken is amazing. The bbq was great. The veggies were all fabulous. The people were so friendly We don’t normally go to myrtle area due to the crazy crowd but this time of year (Jan)was a spur of the moment decision. If we’re ever back there, this is for certain a must do again.
