Southern Cafe & Catering

I'm not from that area so I googled for a place to eat. They were very busy with lots of customers. The staff was clean and very friendly. We got great service. The food was very good except the bacon a little too cooked. All in all a good meal.

Eat area, lobby, bathrooms immaculate, the staff sweetest people you will ever meet, best cook this side of Tennessee, theyoung lady here is the best cook this side of tennessee, the owner, a wonderful young lady, always willing to greet you with a smile and a handshake.

Pleasantly pleased with our overall experience here. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. Not to mention the food was very good. Let me add that my husband and I travel from coast to coast frequently, so we’re always looking for a place that really captures us and makes us want to be repeat customers. City Grill probably has the best country fried steak, gravy, and mash potatoes we’ve ever tasted. This is definitely an establishment we enjoyed, left filled, and satisfied.

They have great catfish and home cooking veggies

It was good for a little hometown restaurant. I only had the BLT with fries. I saw a guy with a delicious looking gigantic piece of strawberry cake. He was begging people to take some of it. They had one lone waitress (they still call them that in that town) who was busting her butt trying to keep up and not being very successful at it. They haven't been open a real long time so I'm sure it'll get better. They have Extreme Bar Bingo there every Monday night at 6:30. It's not a bar at all so don't BYOB.
