South Georgia Regional Library System Headquarters at the Willis L. Miller Library

Amazing library. It's huge and has a great selection of manga! There is also a bookstore inside with books, magazines, and DVDs for sale too. The self checkout is pretty cool and the staff are nice!

The toddler and child room is great for any parent to bring their little ones to get involved and peak their interest. And, the classes and events for littles have been a wonderful way to augment the fact that my daughter is no longer in daycare! The librarian who runs the toddler programs is awesome!!

I just found this library and was super happy about it. My 7 year old finally has a library card. 😆 I love how clean and open the library is and I love the kids section. They have there own computers and can check in and out there books. I'm excited for my daughter to have a place to go and expand her reading.

Very friendly environment !. I love how quiet and how clean it stays. I can always find some assistance in finding the right book or having the library retain a book for me. I also admired their friends of the library department, the books for sale are at amazing prices and comes with a vast variety. This is the best library in South Georgia and the best in Valdosta. Period!. You will not be dissatisfied with their services. Also , the library is organized for the safety of children and also business agendas. Go ahead and check the place out! AMAZING!

There are not many books in this library, but I am told you can get any book you want via their computer system. That's very helpful because major authors like Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Terry Pratchett, and even Douglas Addams are seriously underrepresented here. Many of the shelves are clearly designed to hold 50+ books yet only have 4 or 5, with their covers facing you instead of the side in an obvious attempt to fill space. Aside from the post-apocalyptic book supply, I like the library itself. It's comfy and has plenty of reading areas and flat surfaces near outlets to plop your laptop on. The folks who work there are super-nice, too. I look forward to spending a lot of quiet time there.
