South Fork Grille El Dorado Hills

I made a reservation online, and it was easy and convenient. I had lunch around 12:00 pm. The place was busy, but the server, hostess, and buss staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were well-trained in my opinion. The waiter recommended the Seabass, and to my delight, it was fantastic. The only issue I had was that it was a bit tough. However, the flavor and presentation were top-notch. I ordered a glass of mimosa, but they were out of Chandon's, which was a bit disappointing. The one I had was $15 a glass and didn't pair well with the mimosa. Overall, the atmosphere and service were very good! Parking is a bit of an issue, but they have parking in the back area. The prices were fair, except for the alcohol.

Had a delightful stop over after viewing some new 55+ plus homes down the way...the bartender was kind while I tried to decode what I wanted. I settled on the brussel sprout with bacon and parm (practically health food) and a side salad that was perfectly dressed. Ice tea to keep me going...wish I could have stayed for proper drink. The regulars that arrived were super nice.

We live in West Roseville but make the trip here because we enjoy the ambiance, friendly staff and delicious food. Bobby and Brian in particular are warm and help create a relaxing and engaging experience. Plus, it's in the heart of El Dorado Town Center, which we love. Pictured here is the fitness special. A succulent piece of fresh halibut with a delightful herb sauce, broccolini and mashed potatoes. I subbed mashed potatoes because I have a bell pepper allergy. Yumm-a-licious!

I have visited this place two days in a row on a recent visit to EDH. The first time I sat at the bar where the service was super friendly and attentive. I was trying to watch the baseball game and they had a TV just above the bar to be able to do so. I wasn't starving so I got the cheesesteak sandwich which was super good. The bread was perfectly able to hold all the ingredients in and there was just the right amount of cheese. The next night I met some friends here and got the jambalaya pasta. It was well seasoned and a hit with everyone at the table. Other hits from that group included the blackberry margarita, the lazy river IPA, and the Barking Dog Cooler. Although I'd like to try more places while I'm here there is a high likelihood i'll be visiting again!

We love the atmosphere here and the staff is wonderful. We do feel the menu is a bit small, which doesn’t leave much room for variety, but what they do, they do well. The meat is always flavorful and cooked to perfection. Just a heads-up that the dessert menu is also very limited. It’s a great spot if you have a favorite dish you love coming back for, but don't expect a ton of options!
