South Fayette Township Library

This is a great little library , just order what you want and they deliver to this location for free. There is always plenty of free parking at an easy in and out location. When I read this bottom two reviews I just had to make a positive comment. The first guy that complained about the hours did not hit the drop down menu to see the entire week of hours. The hours are clearly stated. The next lady is mad they do not give ID over the phone. Are you serious ??? Don't rate them bad because you lost your card. They didn't believe who you were? How dare they. LOL

I took my two young children (ages 3 and 18 months) to the library to play today and check out a few books. The woman who runs the Kids In Motion Program made a loud, passive aggressive comment about the children’s play area “being a COMPLETE disaster”. Granted, there were 5 children playing with the kitchen toys at the time so there were toys scattered on the floor. However, there are signs asking to clean up AFTER playing and there were clearly children still playing. I thought she possibly had her class in the play area which prompted the rude comment but came to find out her class is in a completely different room! The atmosphere quickly became not very child friendly. I will most likely be taking my children to the USC library from now on...

Love the South Fayette library. They're very helpful, and if they don't have a book, they're eager to order it for you from the Allegheny County library system. For those complaining about the library being closed, they suffered a flood during the summer of 2016 and were closed for several months for repairs. All customers were directed to the Bridgeville library, just a few miles away.

Awesome little library! Excellent, knowledgeable staff and comfortable reading areas. It's a small library, so the selection isn't great, but it's part of the Allegheny network of libraries, so they'll order any book you need from around the city. I highly recommend it.

Smaller than your living room. Hardly any books. Pain in the butt location. I called to get my card # because I lost my card and read ebooks. THEY WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME! They didn't believe who I was. They wanted me to come in and prove my identity! So I hung up and called another library. They gave it to me immediately. Its a library card #. Why would I fake it?? They give them out for free.
