Zeitgeist Stage has been invited to present itself in one of the windows at the South End Branch of the BPL. We are honored and grateful for the opportunity and would like to thank the staff to be so supportive during the set-up. A big shout out also for Marleen Nienhuis, the president of the Friends of the Southend Library and last but not least Cathy Root for her incredible support to get this project up in time during the Holiday Season!

I moved to Boston one month ago and South End library has been a great find near my apartment. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Childrens librarian, Ms Margaret is just wonderful! She gives her best to educate children and engage them in different activities all the time. My 1.5 yr old son is always excited to attend toddler story time here. Compared to the central library, I always feel special when I go here. A lovely welcome from all and a possibility to make new friends. Bonus: they are very close to sparrows park and there is a nice sitting area next to the library. I wish they had more space in the kids area and restrooms need a little bit of upgrade.

Ms Margaret is very sweet and creative with children and mothers! We are very happy to meet other mamas there and play with our kids. What could be improved is the cleaning system of the library. They have to clean more often since children play, crawl, lie on the floor, visit the restrooms..it will make a huge difference.

Nice little community library, host a number of community programs preCovid-19: after-school, neighborhood meetings, summer Jazz concert...beautiful courtyard newly redone...add to the history of the South End...the staff is great and very friendly and personable. Love this quiet space.
