Sourdough Pizzeria

Why have I been driving an hour to an arcade when there's such a cute little one right in my backyard? I got the hawaiian on sourdough. The crust was great - super crispy, just a little bit tangy. The toppings were plentiful. Good pizza. My wife got just cheese on the gluten-free crust. Honestly as gluten-free crust go? Pretty good! The arcade was a great time and not just a gimmick. A good selection of games all in pretty good shape. I always love a few rounds of Galaga.

Sunday night and both our go-to pizza places were closed, so decided to try Sourdough. Very disappointed. A simple order: large cheese with sourdough crust. Thin, watery sauce that didn't come close to covering the crust, a minimal amount of cheese, and the crust was tough and chewy, not thin and crisp. Gave them a star because of their good online ordering system and pleasant staff, but won't bother going back.

We've ordered a few times from here and they never disappoint. The pizzas are delicious, made with fresh ingredients and hot and ready for you right out of the oven when you get there. Staff is friendly and willing to make recommendation for the undecided. One recommendation, mind the time if you are picking up. They pretty much have that down. So keep that in mind if you're ordering take out.

We are so thrilled to have this pizza place in town! They did an amazing renovation—it’s beautiful and clean. Step right into the nostalgia of your childhood while eating the absolute best pizza around! There’s an arcade with a quarter change machine and plenty of games to keep you occupied until your food is ready. You have to check it out!

Edit as response to reply: I was just thrown off by the picture on the company’s website compared to what I received, there genuinely was not a single bit of basil, the oil could’ve just gone past me based on how much you use but the stark contrast visually is why I made a review. I’d also like to clarify the mozzarella was never part of the complaint. Edit pt 2: I did take a photo of it a good week after I got it since I was too sad to eat it and forgot to take a photo when fresh so it looks very decrepit but as you can see no basil 🥲
