While visiting Philadelphia from Brooklyn, my family wanted to have a great meal we searched the net and soulful D’lites popped up we got there a half an hour before closing time and they were getting ready to shut down , but the gracious host still decided to let us place our order and the rest was history the food was delicious and worth the drive we will be back…
Greens and Mac were both salty and inedible. Fish was ok. Fish tacos were really skimpy and lacked seasoning. Fries were undercooked. Salmon burger was salty and burnt. Waste of money.
This isn’t a sit down place it’s just for takeout. It took us an hour to get the food because they were backed up with Uber Eats orders but once we got it we raced home to tear it up. I have no pictures because it’s gone. The greens were my fav and I loved the rice as well that came with my salmon. Yams were to die for as well. The corn bread is very spongey like cake but we didn’t even know we were getting it so that was a nice surprise. We will be back this is definitely one of our new go to’s. You will also find no parking in this area. You’ll just have to pull over and put your four ways on. It’s right in the middle of a neighborhood so depending on the time parking will usually be slim.
food was terrible my chicken chops was the size of a half of chicken 😳😳😳😳😳 which completely taste like fish so i’m assuming they cooked them with fish the greens was canned greens and the potato salad now that was good but something just something was off over i will never in life order here again lessson learned 😂😂😂
Food was horrible. No effort in cooking properly! These platters were an absolute mess! The shrimps were over battered, the fries were soggy, and the Cajun burger order was pink and still mushy in the middle. I wish there were something “good” I could say about this food but unfortunately I learned a valuable lesson this evening and my family did as well! Never again will we be eating from here!
