Okra and salad was fresh and so good !! Potato salad was great ! Soul sistahs offer drive through, and great customer service. The owner blessed me today, she doesn’t know it. A kind woman. I will return, and highly recommend! 10/10‼️

Soul Sistah’s kitchen is the kitchen for soul/southern food and BBQ, and it’s the best kept secret in the Lafayette area. Nestled in a small spot right between Scott and Lafayette, it has the feeling that if you came upon a neighborhood for the first time, and people were cooking out, you would think this goes on all the time. But they are official, the real deal, the ones with a secret to plate-lunch style food on the west side of the city. If you see Oxtail stew on the menu, get it! I have had their BBQ on Sundays, and have met the cook. First, let me say I would have to pay double for a plate of what they game me anywhere else: country style ribs, sausage, dressing, and two sides. I felt just at home here at Soul Sistah’s kitchen!! Everything was just what I needed for some good ol comfort food and it was affordable too! Lovely people running this place. Nothing but great things to say. Thank you!
