Made me feel like I am back home in Europe. Everything about this cafe and the experience AND the food. Fresh, delicious and delectable. This is a must stop by or order out. I had the Alpine with chickpeas and couscous and my friend had the Piedmont with beans and chickpeas. Definitely will return!!
I love coming here! The staff is so nice and helpful. The interior is designed so nicely and cozy! A nice place to come with friends or come alone to read your book.
Such a wonderful little spot located right downtown! The decor and atmosphere is amazing, not to mention the delicious sandwiches and not your run-of-the-mill menu. The alpine sandwich and couscous are delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop in.
Sosta Cafe is now on my top 5 Vegan Restaurants in Raleigh list. My wife and I arrived right before the lunch crowd on Friday and the reviews I read earlier about this quaint cafe did not disappoint. The eclectic furniture, with its unique wall art throughout the room brought us back to our time in Key West, FL. I had the This Little Piggy sandwich with CousCous and Chickpeas. Both sides were flavorful and complimented the sandwich well. This Little Piggy was delicious! Although it was a bit on the sweet side, the sweetness was tempered with the fresh lettuce, tomatoes and arugula. The soy based meat, which was chopped/shredded, was succulent and tasted just like pork! My wife was in awe that I finished my dish, since I seldom do. Service was equally good. A vegan delight! By the way, my w
As a longtime vegan, I was genuinely excited by how many plant based options were available. I ordered This Little Piggy, a vegan, soy based Eastern Carolina style “B.B.Q.” with lettuce, tomatoes, and arugula on wheat bread, and it was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. I also tried The Angus with marinated vegan “beef,” tomatoes, arugula, and homemade vegan basil pesto on a baguette, and it was just as good. For a non vegan take, my husband ordered The Guido with port marinated roast beef, caramelized onions, gorgonzola, and arugula on ciabatta and loved it. Everything we tried was a hit. Bonus points for celebrating 20 years in business. Such a special Raleigh staple worth supporting.
