Sorimmara in Duluth is a total hidden gem! ✨ The food is an absolute flavor explosion—every bite is authentic, fresh, and seriously addictive. 🍜 The staff are such gems, too; they’re incredibly welcoming, attentive, and make the whole experience seamless. The environment is chic, spotless, and has the perfect vibe for a fun meal out. 💖 You seriously need to come experience this for yourself! If you haven't been yet, this is your sign to go. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was quite disappointed with my visit. I ordered Medium Level 2, but the broth was very bland. The cashier said they couldn’t do anything, so I had to add soy sauce and chili oil myself. The pot was already cooked and kept warm with solid fuel, but the flame went out in less than five minutes, leaving the rice cakes and glass noodles hard and the broth cold. Also, the interior did not look like the video (apparently uploaded by the owner of Sorimmara Duluth) that shows up first online. I even thought I might have walked into the wrong place. The cream shrimp was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend the malatang and don’t plan on returning.
This is not it. I ordered the rose mala Xiang guo but this had little to no sauce or flavor… I used to love this place but each time I’ve ordered it’s gotten worse. Today especially, there is literally NO flavor. The color isn’t a rich, creamy rose flavor like it used to be but it’s JUST beige and clear. And mostly noodles, not worth $30+. so disappointed because I used to love this dish… really really hope that the kitchen staff improves food quality (like it used to be) to keep the returning customers from leaving for good.
I recommend starting off with a low spice level for the broth. The flavors are excellent and I love that you can customize the topping to your liking. There are lots of options for noodle and proteins.
You have to have at least one pound of food. Staff is friendly and food quality is good but it seems to have decreased a bit since it’s opening but most restaurants are like that these days. Stop by if you crave some korean mala or just want to explore some new food options.
