Sore Thumb Entrance

Great day beautiful weather but it did get crowded so get there early. Make sure you have your 4X4 permit and the proper equipment. Even with the crowd it was great to have ur truck right next to you and the beach right in front of you.

So much better than lugging all your stuff from the parking lot to the beach. Just pop the trunk. Have only come on weekdays and it has never once been crowded. FYI there is no air station here so bring you own pump.

Love it beisdes the kids coming thru going 40 mph past kids playing......last weekend they kept getting stuck on the narrowest part of the beach during high tide.....but yeah get there early or dont....enjoy!

Best 4x4 fishing beach my 0.02 some nice trail inside to have some fun with your 4x4. High tide cover significant part of the beach make sure u arrive early to secure a safe spot on busy summer weekend. Just beware lots of mosquitos near the bushes.
