Sora Sushi Ramen

Today's lunch was @sora.apex! Apps: Pork Belly Bao Succulent marinated pork belly, cucumbers, and lettuce with hoisin sauce. Beef Bao Savory marinated beef, cucumbers, and lettuce. with hoisin sauce. Main: Spicy Mala Ramen A spicy flavored bone broth topped with marinated beef, bok choy, ajitsuke egg, scallions, and nori. All of the food was pretty good. I think my expectations were a little too high going in to it based off of the Google reviews. The buns were decent. I just feel like they were a little laking in the flavor department in my opinion. The ramen was better then the buns. It had some decent heat to it and the texture of the noodles was pretty good. I always love the egg. It was above average, but wasn't my favorite. Dined here next day of snow, they have really nice ramen bowl options. We ordered Curry Chicken bowl that came with fried chicken in plate as a side. Soupy bowl that was perfect for cold weather. Bang bang shrimp was lip smacking! Fast service good atmosphere. Would love to try more from their menu!

This is a brand new location and I was looking for my granddaughter who loves ramen and me for sushi and it was a quick 11 minute drive from WakeMed Cary area. The sushi is the best I’ve had in over ten years! Even the M sushi that was $225 has nothing on Sora (sushi-wise). Rolls are pricier by a couple buck but the rolls are BOGO! So bonus there. The atmosphere is also a bonus as some ramen places are self-serve feel. I think I had found our spot! And we were celebrating my gd’s birth -yay, (post real birthday celebration with me) and thy made a special plate and wrote happy birthday with a cherry blossom on the side. We just can’t say enough!

We visited this sushi and ramen restaurant on Wednesday and had such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The food was absolutely delicious – everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, which really made the meal feel special. The sushi rolls were perfectly prepared, and the ramen was rich, comforting, and full of depth. What impressed us most, aside from the food, was the attentive service. Our waiter, Tim, went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. From start to finish, every request we made was handled with genuine attention and care, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Delicious rolls, simple but stylish interior, and you can tell the place is new. Everything is very clean, and the presentation of the dishes is beautiful. The service was excellent. It was our first time here, and we’ll definitely be coming back
