The chicken is hot, crispy, and a little dry. The sauces are sweet, sour, tangy, spicy....pretty much anything you want. Solid choice, but for some reason the last couple times we've been to this location, something has been off with the food. It's not nearly as plump and juicy as the location closer to Wake Forest area. Definitely try that one before judging the whole Soo Cafe experience! Oh and they have a little tiny market at the front too and play a variety of Kpop on the tvs, which is nice.
Possibly the best Korean fried chicken in the Triangle. I've tried bone in and boneless wings and both are good. The bibimbap is phenomenal. I usually go with friends and no one has ever been disappointed. If you want some good Korean food in a unique and comfortable atmosphere, this is a great place.
My boyfriend and I came and tried this spot out the other day. Absolutely amazing! We both got the fried chicken, I just did the wings with the original sauce and my boyfriend did like a mix of chicken (I think he had some breast pieces, thighs, and some wings) in the popular garlic sauce (I don't recall, but it said most popular on the menu). We also got a kimchi pancake and rice. Way too much food in hindsight, but it was all so delicious!! Service was quick and kind, it wasn't busy when we went, middle of the day on a Sunday I believe. Overall we'd absolutely be back, it was a great space, looks like it would be a great time to go for Karaoke too!
We came for dinner and ordered from the menu based on the server's recommendations. We ordered both boneless and bone-in fried chicken with different sauces. The food arrived quickly, as there were only two occupied tables in the restaurant at the time. The fried chicken was different from American fried chicken. It was crispy and tender, not dry. The sauce was unique, a blend of spicy, sour, and sweet flavors. We ordered the Large portion. If you want to try fried chicken that's different from the usual, this restaurant could be a great choice.
Not a huge spicy food fan, only here and there so I ordered mine not spicy. The beef special bibimbap was truly one of the best lunches I’ve ever had.
