Just tried this newly opened hand roll spot and I’m already planning my next visit. From the moment we sat down, the service was on point. The staff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive. Our water glasses were constantly refilled, plates were cleared promptly, and every dish was explained with care. It felt polished but still warm and welcoming. Now the food, they were absolutely divine. Every piece of sashimi tasted incredibly fresh, with clean flavors and that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. You can really tell they prioritize quality and freshness. My experience at Sonamri can only be described as an unforgettable experience. The staff is very friendly and attentative despite how busy the restaurant gets. They also provided excellent explanation of the menu when I was unsure about something. Quality of the food was magnificent. You can tell the chef has put a lot of care into each menu item. Each dish seems to be crafted to not overwhelm your tongue with strong flavors but instead each flavors build off each other to make the whole tasting experience very pleasant. Something very unique is the rolls being prepared on a stick with the nori on the side. Had the chef rolled the roll with nori and sent it out, the nori would eventually become soggy. A perfect little spot for a relaxed after-work dinner and a drink. The space is clean and cozy, with both table seating and comfortable bar. The chef has a Michelin level background, and it really shows in the thoughtfulJapanese-Korean fusion menu.The uni toast is a must order，crispy outside, soft inside, topped with generous, sweet uni and a rich slow cooked egg yolk. The maguro monaka is beautiful and delicious, with great texture and layers of flavor. Hand rolls were fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly balanced, and the duck dish was tender with a light, French-inspired touch. Cocktails are creative too！Sunset Espresso was especially impressive. A chill, quality spot I’d happily come back to.

My brother was in town visiting and came across Sonmari. They happened to have a table available and promptly seated us. The staff were all so friendly and the food was absolutely divine. Definitely worth the drive! I’ll be back again soon. Highly recommend Sonmari!

This place is INSANE. Everything was fresh and perfectly made but the UNI TOAST … was mind blowing. Hands down the best uni toast I’ve ever had. Easily one of the best sushi spots around. 10/10 will be back.
