Evening were staff are unprofessional and dimissmive when I tried to pick up a DoorDash order I was assigned to. I around 11:40pm per the doordash order and received no response through the drive through speaker. I announced several times I was a doordash driver. After some time had passed I pulled forward to the drive through window and could see an order taped and labeled with two drinks sitting on the counter by the window. The drinks matched the description of the order I was there to pick up. There was another order on the counter as well. I took photos of these items from my car. I beeped my car horn obnoxiously several times. I circled the store once and tried again. An additional DoorDash driver arrived not too long after me. I ordered a small chocolate shake and a Reese’s Blast, and unfortunately, both were disappointing. The chocolate shake barely had any chocolate flavor. It tasted more like plain vanilla ice cream with a tiny bit of syrup at the bottom (picture attached). Definitely not the rich, creamy shake I was expecting. The Reese’s Blast wasn’t much better. The mix-ins were clumped together instead of blended, leaving big chunks in plain ice cream (see photo). It felt like very little effort went into making it. I also spent about 20 minutes in the drive thru from the time I arrived until the time I got my order (there was only one car ahead of me). Overall, not worth the price. I usually enjoy Sonic, but this order really missed the mark.
Ordered in the app ahead of time, checked in like I've done at every other Sonic (the screen showed we were checked in). We waited 40 minutes, eventually I clicked the red button to ask what was up and they didn't even know I was there. Our order finally came out and the food was cold, there was a bug in one of the teas, neither of the teas was correct, I paid for vanilla sweet tea. The grillos burger didn't have the grillos ranch on it, my onion rings were burnt and broken, AND my coney was burnt. BUT the two things that were correct were great! The tater tots and a cherry limeade were both really good.
This is the worst Sonic location. We gave this location three chances and each time they consistently disappointed. We ordered online and informed them we were there each time. It took over 30 minutes from the estimated time to bring out the food despite it being off hours. The food is mediocre at best and the cheese on one of the burgers this time was burnt to a crisp. Previous visits gave wrong drink orders and have been missing items. This will be the last time I will be eating/ordering from this location.
The food is normal Sonic food, just messier and usually cold. If you can even get a response at any of the drive-ups or the drive-thru, the wait time is far too long for fast food. It typically takes at least 30 min from the time you order until you receive it. When you see on the monitor that food is on the way, I think it’s just a way to trick any system monitoring service times. I would be happy to wait if, when I finally got my food, it wasn’t messy and cold. I don’t know if the same person owns this franchise that owns the Warwick location, but they are completely different vibes. Update: My family picked up lunch there today despite my warnings. It was just little piles of trash in sonic boxes. I’ve tried reaching out to the helpline on the comment they left but it is just bots.
