Sonic Drive-In

I order a large chilli cheese fry and I only got half of a large. I also ordered a triple smasher burger but none of the onions were caramelized. The server was the best experience. The food used to be great. A large is a medium and a medium is a small. That's not right. My order cost little over $11.00 for just me. You should not cheat us out of food we paid for. There kitchen workers need more training. Can't believe the manager let that go out the door. Must be talking to much and not focused on there job. Today's date: Feb 20, 2026. I ordered at 3:00pm.

Ordered a large coffee from here put easy ice on the order paid almost 5 dollars for the coffee for only 2 sips and it was gone because there was so much ice. Went through the line to tell them to see if they could either remake it or put more coffee in it. He said ya that’s the way we make it. Do not buy coffee from here! I come to this sonic every single day for drinks and food….

Every. Single. Time! I get attitude. But today took the cake! I will never ever patronize that place again. Was trying to order food for three and the person taking my order had such a nasty attitude I ended up only ordering for my husband and son. Got to the window to ask who took my order and the young lady said it was her manager. What?! Told her I’d never ever be back. She was apologetic. I truly felt sorry for her having to work with someone with an ugly attitude like that. The attitude, impatience, tone of her voice, the whole experience was INSANE. I am in customer service too, and at times I’m pretty overwhelmed; so I know what it’s like to be stretched thin and feel like I’m about to come undone. I don’t understand how people like that get promoted to managerial positions. So

Sonic has some great Cheeseburgers. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because of the intercom system. It’s hard to hear the employee taking the order. They seem to get an attitude, I’m guessing because they can’t hear on their end. Sometime it takes a while to get an order in. But once you get the food, it’s pretty good.

My son thought he left his phone the employee wouldn't walk outside to even look to see if he left it before we had to drive back there .. zero reason for this level of rudeness to a 12 year old ..
