Sonic Drive-In

Hadn't been to Sonic in a very long time so we decided what the heck... I think we both got the #1 burger meals with fries and a drink. Everything was cooked and prepared well veggies were fresh, but everything wasn't "hot". Not a show stopper and we'll be back 😁

Ordered a breakfast burrito and tots. The person who took the order was pleasant and easy to understand. The food was delivered quickly. The person who brought out the order was also very pleasant, and looked genuinely happy to be there. The food order was accurate and everything was fresh. The cheese in the burrito was all melty like it should be and the tots were crispy and delicious.

The food was just okay—not great, but edible. What really ruined the experience was the customer service. The woman taking orders at the speaker (she said her name was Lydia) was incredibly rude and had an attitude from the start. I simply asked to add a few items before driving to the window—something that’s completely normal at most places—but instead of helping me, she completely ignored me for about 10 minutes. After she sent out a male worker who only made a snide, dismissive comment: “Are you okay, lady?” I was so shocked by the experience I ended up going somewhere else the rest of it. I felt like my concerns were totally disregarded, and honestly, the comment came off as gaslighting. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated. Do better.
