Sonic Drive-In

Actually kind of appalled right now. Went through the drive thru after being told the stalls were closed. My order was 31.49 and I gave her $40.50. She comes back a little while later and hands me 7.50. I proceeded to tell her she initially owed me $9 and I handed her the .50 back and told her to bring me the $2. She gives me $1 and shuts the window immediately. I’m like okay whatever at this point and annoyed bc the whole time she didn’t apologize or say it was a mistake or anything. Just silent attitude. Then I checked my burger and there was no ketchup on it like I asked and they would not come back to the window with me waving and did not give me a receipt. I’m so sick of these rude service industry workers.

Placed an order ahead through the app for a supersonic breakfast burrito, get home and its just eggs and cheese, I try to offer grace when I can so no big deal, I drive back to the drive thru and explain to the woman what happened, you would think an apology would be met with my complaint, I was met with irritation, I wasn't expecting any handouts but usually when i mess up something the least I offer is an apology but definitely not attitude or irritation but i guess you get what you pay for and i never write these but it definitely did not sit right with me and spoiled my experience.

WORRIED ABOUT FOOD SAFETY!!! My husband picked up Sonic for dinner tonight. One of the items we ordered was an American Dog (w/relish, onion, ketchup, & mustard). It looked yucky, possibly from human error (see photos). It was saturated with mustard and relish juice but it had very little actual relish. My husband took one bite and and immediately said OMG, it's spongy and gross. We turned on the light to look at it and it looked disgusting and the hot dog appeared bad/spoiled. Hopefully it won't give him food poisoning or something!! 🙏 The employee that brought the food out was nice. That was the only positive thing about the entire experience!

Thank you to the workers today. My food was fresh and my order was correct and ready when I arrived. Much appreciated given the icy weather !

I placed an order for the number one which is the double sonic smasher. I got tots and a Coke when I get to the window. He claims that my card didn't work. But there was nothing wrong with my card. There was something wrong with the swiping because he had to type it in then all of a sudden voila, it works, then I get cold tots and a warm drink, and I think I know the difference between a Coke and a Diet Coke. I remember when I was waiting at the window I heard him say, "I guess everybody wanted Coke today." And so I guess they just unilaterally decided they were gonna give me what they wanted to. That's not the way it works. And for these reasons, I would do Zero if possible.
