Went here for the first time. Food was good, my Cesar salad wrap was a little dry, but tasty. Feta fries were delicious, large portion. Staff wasn’t inviting. They seemed quite miserable. Also not very welcoming when walking in and no thank you come again when walking out. Would I come back? Yes, I’d like to try something else on the menu. However I’d like to see the staff more friendly next time.
Sonia’s is great! We stopped by today for lunch and had a nice time. This location is in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is spacious and counter service with plenty of options. There was a multitude of employees and our orders came out very quickly. For my meal I made my own bowl. This came with rice pilaf, a mix of grape leaves and falafel, tzatziki and hummus, along with pickled vegetables, pickled turnips, tomatoes, feta, and Kalamata olives. Everything tasted fresh and of a great quality. My only minor criticism is that I found the falafel to be a bit dry. However, with that amount of food for $14 Sonia’s is a steal and I highly recommend you try it out here.
got the gyro + feta fries. i was very hungry so the gyro disappeared in less than a couple minutes. the fries were pretty crispy and i enjoyed them as well. the bowls were hugeeee. it was about a 15-20 minute wait for 6 items and the interior of the place looks very aesthetic. chill vibes.
Great addition to town - wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, bowls. I got the Mediterranean wrap. Chicken was cooked perfect! Couldn’t help myself and added on the pita chips. The color threw me but they are not spicy, just paprika! Will be back to try other items on the menu.
We ordered an Italian and a pastrami with cheese. Both were very good. My only complaint is that it is difficult to read the overhead menu. You can read what the sandwiches are called but the print gets smaller underneath that where there is the explanation of what's in the sandwich. Not so bad when the only complaint is about the print and not the food! Definitely a very good sandwich. I will be trying the Atwood Ave location soon. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!
