Songqiren 宋祁人

Songqiren is a new business in the zTao Supermarket food court at Park & Coit that sells super fresh hand-wrapped wontons, wonton soup, and pork buns. We saw it by chance this past Sunday when stopping by the food court for lunch after church and I decided to order a fresh bowl of shrimp-filling wonton soup from the ladies at the counter, who were busily wrapping wontons to order with all the different fillings they were offering that day. My bowl came out to be $13 - they accept both cash and credit. I was told that often people will come by and order trays of wontons to freeze at home, also for $13 per tray, and that sometimes they also sell freshly made steamed buns, but that Sunday they were pretty slammed with orders so I think they were only doing wontons.
