Sonbobs

Cozy and delightful little spot. So glad I stopped in. Delicious coffee drinks. The bourbon banana muffin was fabulous too. Super friendly staff, comfy atmosphere, fantastic music.

Love this neighborhood gem. I come here a few times a week for coffee/latte and freshly baked muffins. I always look forward to seeing what the muffins/cupcakes for the day will be. It's absolutely delicious! On top of that Sonbob's has great salads and sandwiches that are made there. Tuna sandwich is the best I've ever had. Also, the he environment has an artsy and cozy feel to it. Highly recommended!

Charming hole-in-the-wall type cafe in an unassuming block in Astoria. Good sandwiches - got the salami and turkey ones. Coffee drinks and teas were good and pretty standard (got an iced tea and hot coffee). Seating is tough- two tables and a bench. Lots of random tchotchkes for sale. Interesting place!

It's not often that I go to a place 3 times and all 3 times everything is great. Well Sonbobs is that place!!! The cool calm eclectic vibes are on point. The coffee is stellar and made with care. Last but not least the woman who owns/runs the place is kind and friendly. I walk past 4 coffee shops on my way to Sonbobs!! Love this place

Sonbobs is a quaint and cozy little cafe nestled in the heart of residential 28th avenue in Astoria, equally accessible by the 30th avenue and Astoria Blvd train stations. Mismatched cozy seating with just a couple tables inside, you can also sit outside on the sidewalk and staff are happy to accommodate more outdoor seating if you ask. Excellent coffee from Porto Rico Roasting is served for hot coffee iced coffee (with or without coffee cubes!) and espresso drinks, and they also have organic loose tees for hot and iced, plus many breakfast and lunch options including their signature sandwich on toasted garlic bread, fresh baked cookies, muffins and cupcakes daily. A neighborhood favorite with loyal regulars ☺️
