Som’s Kitchen is easily one of the best places I’ve eaten at in Oroville. Mr.Som is a really kind man. I can see why this place is one of the best rated places in Oroville. The food is amazing the fried rice is a flavor bomb in your mouth. I’ve tried many fried rices but this is easily hands down one of the best I’ve tasted. The Skewer Chicken is really good cooked at just the right temp for a chewy texture. I’m not really a big fan of the peanut sauce but for his peanut sauce I made an exception and it turned out to be really good! If you’re looking for an authentic locally owned place make sure to come on by and support his business you won’t be disappointed! The entrance is a little tedious to navigate into but it’s worth the patience.

Firstly, best Thai food I've had in ages, and that's coming from the Bay area all the way to Sac. Secondly, some of the best food in this town overall. The presentation, flavor, and service are all top tier. Som clearly takes pride in what he does. As much as I love a deal, I hope he raises his prices a little soon, it's worth it. P.S best Vietnamese coffee I've ever had, Idk what magic Som is working.

My wife and I love Thai food and so when we heard about Som’s Kitchen, we needed to try it. And we were Amazed at the flavor of the dishes. I like a good fried rice dish and this is the best! The curry is outstanding and the Pad Thai is my wife’s favorite. You just have to try it.

One of the few Asian fast food in Oroville CA. Very good food and even better service. I would highly recommend.

Oroville lacks many Thai food options and I can confidently say this is by far the best in the city. I genuinely hope they do well and stick around. The service was amazing, they are incredibly nice. Everything is labeled with Gluten free options. Prices are very reasonable and everything I've tried has been amazing. I've tried Thai restaurants in Chico, Grass Valley, Santa Rosa, Tahoe, Reno, Roseville, and Hawaii. This was top 3 Pad Thai and probably the best Yellow Curry I've had anywhere. If you see them out there, don't pass it up!
