Something Simple

I’ve had some really amazing boba in Georgia. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of those places. We got two different teas. Both were overly sweet and mostly ice. I just didn’t enjoy it at all. I didn’t get any of the fruit bowls or anything else. The guy who took our order and made our tea seemed really overwhelmed. When the order was ready, he just looked at us. I had to ask if that was for us and he just nodded. Maybe he needs more experience. It’s a great idea in theory. But I’m just not a fan of this place.

We just moved into the Lofts close by- we found out about Something Simple from exploring. Genuinely one of the best açaí bowls I’ve ever had. fruit was fresh, açaí is still cold as I write this review and it was beautifully presented. I love boba tea but chose a brown sugar iced coffee they just added. Very flavorful and smooth. I loved the atmosphere from the plants, to the couch, and a personal touch of messages from guests on a wall. The owner was very personable and sweet. Definitely will be a regular spot.

I will make this as constructive as possible. I built my own bowl, which sounded good on paper but just did not deliver. I am going to assume this was a mom and son combo on the day I visited. Props to the son because it seem like he was undergoing ojt (on-the job training). He was very nice with his service. However, it seemed like mom was more concerned with her conversation on the phone while simultaneously trying to make bowls and give him direction. If I may make a healthy observation. If you must talk on the phone while multi-tasking, please go hands-free and ensure the quality is there in these bowls. If that is not possible, please table the conversation and deliver quality in your bowls. This bowl was not at all enjoyable. There was honey all on the outside which made my vehicle e

My sister and I came here for some boba since our favorite place is closed today. My sister ordered the matcha with tapioca pearls and I ordered a raspberry tea with popping strawberry boba, it was pretty good :) We would come back again. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks because there was only one lady working but I did not mind, she was very nice and I would rather someone take their time to provide something good rather than rush.

The Bowls were fresh and tasty I myself got a cheesecake bowl topped with fruit . The youngman at the counter was friendly . My sister whose a strawberry lemonade connoisseur lol had one with popping Boba and she said she'd definitely be back I definitely think if you are looking for something simple yet delicious try them out we visited on Nov 14th 2024
