Somers Public Library

My children (4yo and 6yo) and I love visiting libraries and have been to dozens in our state. All of us were taken by this beautiful space! The children's area has so many special touches (gorgeous murals, puppet area, play house, light table, legos, coloring table, tonies available to check out). The book collection is fantastic and the librarians we met were super friendly. We can't wait to return!

I love this library! The childrens section is huge and there are so many fun little activities and toys. There is a huge selection of books and toys to take out as well. They have also recently painted a few beautiful murials around the childrens section that really brightens up the space and makes it feel that much more fun! This is definitely one of my favourite libraries in the area!

Worst library ever they banned all of us for no reason I think it’s honestly because of racial profiling. It’s just this library is bad. They ban you for no reason they’re really strict. They have a good selection of books, but they don’t really let you do anything and both most places are blocked off so you can’t really go anywhere. They love kicking out everybody. They have no remorse. They don’t feel bad for their actions. This is just the worst library ever and I do not recommend it to any of my peers. Honestly, don’t go here the worst library ever. Everyone is working quietly, but they are just so rude and they don’t let you have peace at all every time you try to work somewhere they kick you out and they make you get up

My kid is tall and was waiting in the children’s room for his mom to pick him up and was rudely kicked out. Great books though

The staff and atmosphere are simply the best around. Their work is much appreciated by the town.
