SOL Cafe

This is a really lovely dining experience in Lakeside! The food is really incredible, don't skip their breakfast options! Its a lot of unique (for Americans at least) items and ingredients. The flavors are authentic and fresh. Went twice just last week it was so good. A real treat.

All the people working behind the counter were very friendly, happy and helpful. The food was delicious. I will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I love that Sol Cafe is here. And I love that I have access to food of this caliber in my hometown. What an absolute delight from start to finish. My family I had lunch there around noon on a Saturday. No line, plenty of seating, quick service, friendly staff, incredible food. We all left full and happy. And that papaya salad? I’ll be dreaming about that for days. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Nice quiet place no big tables so probably not good for big group. Dishes are all pretty spicy, even for a non spicy dish like congee, so not suitable for kids. Things are definitely overpriced compared to other “Chinese restaurants”, portion sizes are ok. Don’t expect the traditional dishes here, it’s more Asian fusion style.

A hidden gem in the Lakeside neighborhood. Service is amazing and the food is lovely.
