Soda Shop

Cozy burger shop that's been right there for decades, part of the town history. The food was great! Service was good. Atmosphere was great. Place was clean. Bathroom was the only issue.

I got a Carolina dog which was decent but I thought red onions instead of white was a little strange and I did have to pull a piece of onion skin out but over-all a decent dog. My friend got a chili cheese dog and he said it was pretty good. We both wished the cottage fries were more well done but we were glad we tried them. The prices seemed a little steep for hot dogs but that could be location based. Overall I wouldn’t mind eating here again. The servers were nice enough and the atmosphere is very cute and retro!

Charming old neighborhood soda shop offering hand made sodas, good food and a interesting atmosphere. Great place t to go for a breakfast or lunch. While we visited in the wintertime, they do have outdoor seating. Staff is great and willing to explain the menus and the soda options. Seating is tight, but reasonable. Parties of more than 4 will have seating issues. They do take credit cards, debit cards, and real cash, but no tap type payments like Apple Pay.

Awesome place, as I'm sure locals already know. Food and service was terrific. Timing is everything here, as it is small and can fill up quickly. But, it is definitely worth waiting for.

Since 1951, the Soda Shop has been serving great food in Davidson NC! Had my fav Reuben sandwich with potato rounds...and PEACH ice cream for yummy dessert!
