Brisket Quesadilla and "smack-and-cheese" were delicious!! SoCo is a mom and pop style restaurant so its very small town and cozy with not a lot of seating. Prices are a little high but thats to be expected in a small town family-owned business. If youre passing through Whigham, SoCo is definitely worth a stop!
Legit best BBQ I’ve had in a decade. Turkey was perfectly seasoned & moist, rib meat fell off the bone, and brisket was perfectly cooked and not too salty / fatty. Green beans and toast were also perfectly cooked. Highly recommended!
Struggled with this review a bit. Enterering this establishment was a little hidden to anyone that is not a local. We entered and it seemed very small because it is. Very small cabinesk style feel. We were seated immediately. Drinks were ordered and order was taken. Very limited straight forward basic menu. Eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, grits and pancakes make up the entirety of their menu varies only by how it is assembled. The tablets were disgusting as i slightly leaned forward and my shirt became stuck to the table. Food gunk all over the sides of the table and even stuck to the bottom of it. This problem probably either leads to or definitely contributes to the fly problem. The entire time there we were shooing flies away. While we waited 28 minutes for our breakfast to come we witness
Talk about a hidden gem located in downtown Whigham, GA! This place encompasses everything needed for a great homecooked meal: breakfast, lunch and supper! You will not be disappointed for any meal! We stopped for breakfast and had veggie omelets of a generous portion along with Texas toast and grits. Coffee was perfectly brewed. Judy was a delight, very gracious and attentive. She even let us sample the Bruswick Stew since we were first-timers. We didn’t leave a drop in the bowl! The restaurant was surprisingly spacious inside and neat as a pin. We are excited to return for lunch or supper sometime soon!
My mom and I stopped by SoCo for lunch yesterday and loved it. The BBQ was delicious, flavorful, and clearly made with care—and the portions were very generous. We definitely left full and happy. Our server, Tabitha, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll be back for sure!
