Snellgrove Seafood

I’m from Florida and have had some of the freshest and most delicious fried seafood you can find, but little did I expect this little Mom and Pop restaurant only open for dinner three nights a week to have fried catfish that would rival them all. Daaaaaaaaaaaang! The whole meal was delicious, but ironically my favorite bite was even on my seafood platter. I got the Captain Andy’s platter which was wonderful. Each type of seafood was cooked to perfection and I appreciated that they didn’t use the same batter on all the different types of options on the plate, but the best fish that was oddly not included was the Catfish. In my opinion, they should just have a section of the menu where it’s the “Catfish Combo” section where every meal comes with catfish and you just pick the other seafood op

We had a group of 10 and everyone got catfish. Both bone in and filets were good. Not the best but good. The sides were very his especially the slaw.

They ran out of bake potatoes at 6:30 and they open at 5pm! The all you can eat catfish they want you to use your same plate while they walk and take orders from other customers and then taking your used plate with bones and crumbs back there only to bring you one more piece of catfish on the same plate with the same bones and crumbs still left on it!! My son didn’t even bother to eat it when we noticed it was the same dirty used plate that the waitress had picked up from table and taking orders with its was a turn off and we want be going back!

Great little spot 100% what I wanted and expected. Southern fried seafood at its best. Owner is greeting people, staff is friendly and the fried shrimp are great. Perfect batter ratio and crispy.

Just a little rude if you ask me! First time here, and I felt like I’m an inconvenience to them! Yes, I understand you’re busy. I place it to go order and just wanted to pay for it and go outside and wait kinda just brushed me off with no regard.
