Smokin' Pig BBQ of Anderson (Hwy 81)

This was a good lunch. The BBQ sandwich was very good and my wife had the chopped chicken sandwich. The fries and okra was hot and the servings were plenty, and the fresh pork skins were great.

It's a really nice place to eat for date night, or just take the family for a great meal. The food is absolutely amazing! My BF gets the PBR plate, & I always get the pork/chopped chicken plate. The Mac-n-Cheese: Baked Beans: Jalapeno Cheddar Grits; & French Fries are amazing as well! I'm sure all there other sides are delicious too! The best BBQ in town to be honest, & it's definitely highly recommend! Service is also great! They will not disappoint!

I’ve eaten @ Smoking Pig since it opened. Today must had been an “ Off Day”. As usual food was delicious, friendly service. Today being the first time EVER, I picked up food. Either scales were off, or Server didn’t know any better. Chopped sandwich plate has always been great, today I went with the chopped plate, realizing additional side, but 60% of CHOPPED pork was missing. I would had been better off to get and sandwich plate and shared it. So, due to the lack of chopped pork barely served 1, I ordered in pizza. Might wanna check into that. Maybe someone New or changing quantities of food served. Dining inside I’ve never had an issue, pick-up, was “ Definetly out of wack” I would suggest sandwich plate vs chopped pork plate, pay for the extra side and get the portion of pork. PS ~ I d

This is a special spot. On a strip of road with four or five pizza places we stopped last night on the way back to atlanta for some late dinner and it was possibly some of the best BBQ I have had in a while. Amazing Mac and Cheese and huge brisket sandwiches. Really good atmosphere and super friendly people. The free pork rinds were amazing with the vinegar bottle. Outstanding corn bread and the baked beans had me wishing that I had gotten way more. Don't hesitate to stop in. This place is quality.

Great local gem to the Anderson area. Highly recommend anything on the menu. The banana pudding is in the top five I have had anywhere in the U.S. The sauces complement and add just the right amount of heat and flavor even the hot is not overpowering on spice and lets the flavor shine thru. Definitely a spot I will be coming to regularly.
