Smokin' Jack's BBQ (Murray Ave)

Very beautiful place and clean. The staff is very friendly. I had the three meat platter chicken, brisket, and shorts ribs with side of Mac cheese, beans, and corn bread. It was outstanding and filling.

The food was excellent! Really good barbeque which totally hit the spot! Smokin’ Joe and his team have also created a very welcoming atmosphere. I had ordered from the take out location in Brown Deer and loved the food there. So I was happy to visit this new sit down location. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a great experience. The staff were awesome and really passionate about the food and the process. They were super welcoming and fun to talk to. The food was excellent. We got brisket, rib tips, pulled pork, beans, and mac & cheese. I love baked beans and these were some of the best I've had. Rib tips are unusual to see on a menu but I really recommend trying them. We also ordered banana pudding at the end and we loved it. They offer some desserts in a regular portion or a small portion which is a really great idea.

This was our first visit, we're Mke Film members, so we are in the area on a regular basis. Ted and his work partner worked well together, and they both were attentive. Interesting that neither of them knew the "guest" wifi password. Ted told me the password, and the other guy showed me the password, maybe I just got it wrong? Generally the food was excellent, especially the fries, big thick cut, cooked perfectly. We loved the coleslaw. The mac n'cheese was good, maybe not great, and I thought a little overpriced, in all fairness it was a generous serving. I took the excess home. My wife thought the brisket had too much fat in the slices, we shared the per pound meal. I'm not referring to the bark, but the inner slices. I might suggest a better quality cut, maybe "supreme cut", and share

The market location has been my favorite but now I have a new favorite spot much closer to home. Visited right before their official opening and LOVED it!! The wings were amazing. My brisket and pork were delicious. Corn bread was perfect and great Mac and cheese. Current beer selection is just ok with some gems but it sounds like the have a great plan to carry more beers. Really nice to have a BBQ spot with sports on TVs and great ambience when so many are usuallyore counter. Can't wait to come back!!!
