Smokin Bear BBQ

I went with my girlfriend in mid-October 2025, and it was amazing. Bear really knows his stuff. All-natural ingredients, simple lists, and no added salt but you’d never know until he told you. Coleslaw is so fresh, made every day. Secret BBQ sauce recipe is to die for. The menu is dependent on the day until they sell out, and if you’re vegetarian, call and give them a week’s notice. Such a nice guy, nice people, fun experience, tasty food. Definitely will come back next time we’re in New Hampshire. Recommended by where we were staying nearby at Streeter Mountain Farm.

We had lunch twice at Smokin Bear BBQ this summer and just had them cater a dinner for 20. Bear and Kim are great and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend both a visit to their location in Dorchester NH --- and for a catered event!!

Had an absolutely incredible experience at Smokin Bear BBQ! We stumbled upon it after spotting a simple sign that said “BBQ,” and it turned out to be the best spontaneous decision ever! The food was absolutely amazing—full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and beyond satisfying, but what really stood out was the hospitality. The owners made us feel like family, checking in often and even offering extra food to make sure we left full and happy. It felt like a home away from home. Delicious barbecue joint convenient to the local snow mobile trails. Great chicken wings, pork tenderloins, jalapeño poppers, and pasta salad. Very flavorful and a comfortable eating spot with beautiful views. Will be back!

My parents are regulars here and couldn’t say enough great things about it. One day, my wife and I joined them for lunch here and we were absolutely beyond impressed with how delicious the food was. My wife had the pulled pork “Sundae” as it was called, and I had the pulled chicken sandwich. Two weeks later, I brought a group of my buddies with me to try it out, as I couldn’t stop praising to them how good it was. It was 4th of July weekend when we went, so the menu that weekend consisted of smoked burgers with chili and chili dogs with Cole slaw. All five of us were beyond satisfied and one of my buddies even stated that it was “perfect”.
