Man I wish I could give it 5 stars…. Let’s start with the positive: the flavor. It’s probably the best tasting kabob spot in the area. Perfectly seasoned. This alone gives it 4 stars. But the portion at these prices leaves a lot to be desired. For one entree I received meat at a decent portion, but the rice and bread was half of what you’d get from other places. The picture I took was not altered; this is what it looked like when I opened the box. Even if one were to argue that this was a to-go order and the driving may have impacted the position of the food, other kabob spots had enough rice that this never happens.

I had a wonderful experience at SMOKI KABOBS, an Afghan-owned restaurant that truly brings authentic Afghan cuisine to the table. I tried their deluxe kebab, which is a perfect mix of chicken and beef kebabs served with rice, tender chicken pieces, and freshly made Afghan bread. The flavors were outstanding—rich with the taste of homemade Afghan spices and ingredients that make every bite special. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is kept very clean and comfortable, creating a great dining atmosphere. If you’re looking to enjoy real Afghan food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

These chicken thighs are absolutely fantastic! You can tell they’ve been marinated to perfection, bursting with flavor in every bite. They’re so delicious that I’d happily make a trip just to enjoy them for lunch or dinner. Recommended if your in the area.

I bought a buy one get one free shami kebab through Uber. It's nothing like the picture. I don't know if everything was prepared carelessly because it was free. The taste is average, but the portion is definitely not enough. Never again.
