Went middle of the winter, so we will come back in the summer for a better review. I hear they are really busy and maybe the meat is better 🤷. The brisket, and ribs were dry. The pulled pork, pulled chicken and sausage were really good. Corn bread muffins dry. Dinner rolls dry. The different sauces were good. The smokey BBQ sauce mmmmmmmm my favorite. The tots were awesome. They were done perfectly. We had the brisket feast and the ultimate feast. LOTS left over but worth the price for sure.
I am always on the lookout for a good bbq spot, so when a friend suggested this place I finally got out there. The service was great and friendly. Talked bbq with the employee, I have 4 smokers and have been doing bbq for 20 plus years. The menu had a good selection, my buddy and I split the Ultimate Platter which is brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, ribs, andouille sausage, corn muffins and cowboy baked beans. It smelled great, but unfortunately everything seemed over cooked (especially the ribs, seemed burnt) or something as it was all really really dry, the beans wete the best thing on our plate. I am hoping it was just an off day. The flavor was OK, but was hard to gauce as we had to use a lot of bbq sauce due to the dryness. I will eventually try them again to see if it was
My son went there for lunch with a buddy and told me all about the food. So we stopped in before we went ice fishing, awesome ribs. I am also partial to their baked beans. I WILL be back there. And it's a hop skip and a jump from Lino Lakes.
I decided to give them another try, but unfortunately, it was a $94 mistake. After a 45-minute round trip, I got home to find that we weren’t given a single drop of BBQ sauce. The lack of sauce only highlighted how dry the meat was—the brisket and ribs were incredibly dry, and parts of the brisket were actually hard. To make matters worse, there was a mild seasoning sprinkled over everything that my kids didn't like. Out of four children under the age of six, my two youngest could only eat the fries. For nearly $100, I expected much better quality and basic attention to detail. Very disappointed. Service and Atmosphere ratings didnt have N/A for online orders. 1 star does not reflect my experience while I went in to pick up my food.
Stopped here with a few friends on our way home from Duluth. Food is super delicious! We got to meet one of the owners, super friendly. Food also came out very fast. Highly recommend coming here if you love bbq.
