Smokehouse 20

Not the best night out. Food had little to no flavor. Mashed potatoes were cold and tasted like instant potatoes. Steak had no seasoning. The plus was there was open seating and only 3 other couples there at the time. But the waitresses took about 15 minutes to come to the table to take our drink order. For the prices, I was expecting better than what we got. Menu items did sound nice, and would be if cooked right.

My husband and I ordered dinner from DoorDash from smokehouse 20. The food came relatively quick. The only reason why I’m giving this a three star is because of the side dishes. We had a full slab of ribs, a cowboy chicken sandwich, with sides of baked beans, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato tots, collard greens, and french fries. The ribs were very good and well seasoned, and I enjoyed the sweet smoky spicy sauce that was on them. They were also a very good texture. They were tender without being so soft that you didn’t need to chew. That’s something I really appreciate in a good rib. We enjoyed the baked beans too. They were slightly sweet and smoky and just a little bit spicy. They were more savory than what I’m used to in a baked bean, but they were really good. The macaroni and chees

Service was great. Most of the food was great. Fried cheese curds were fantastic. Ribs tasted great, could have been a little more tender in my opinion. Brisket was good. Turkey was incredible! Steak was slightly under cooked and could use a little seasoning. Mac and cheese needed more cheese but had ok flavor. Atmosphere is comfortable and inviting on the inside. Not very noticeable on the outside, nothing draws your attention. Will go back.

Not much else like this in Racine. Great food and affordable prices. The BBQ is excellent and the sauces are delicious. Moink Balls are a must. And the sides are really creative. Nice to have something this good on this end of town!

I moved to Racine about a year ago and never thought of going there. Well that changed as of last nite. The three of us have one of the best meals since moving here fantastic flavors and plenty of food for the price. The place was clean. The food was great and the people were amazing.
