SMOKE Woodfire Grill

I’ve grown to really enjoy Smoke in Owasso and although it was still a decent meal, it fell short. Four of us were there Sunday at noon and it was surprisingly not busy. It took a while for our food to come out, but that’s not a problem because we enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, most of our food was lukewarm. My granddaughter ordered a hamburger and asked to hold the cheese that we had to scrape off. Our service was excellent with prompt attention so I guess this is just a problem with the kitchen. I rated it four stars rather than three because this is a cumulative rating over the many times we have eaten here.

I don’t enjoy writing reviews like this—especially because my past experiences here have been quite good, and I wish I had taken the time to write positive reviews then. Unfortunately, today was different. I brought a friend to lunch to celebrate some new business deals and wanted to treat them to something unique. I was genuinely excited to try the Wagon Burger and was very clear when ordering that I wanted it cooked medium rare. While our server did keep our drinks filled, he never checked in about how the food was prepared or how everything was tasting. Only quick, “how’s your first impression… at deliver”. Smoke is beyond good. The atmosphere, service and food were all phenomenal. Went with my husband for our 9 year anniversary this past weekend. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a long time. We've also visited during brunch which was amazing as well. It's definitely expensive but worth the price

We came on a Saturday and ended up with brunch menu which wasn't as robust as their standard lunch menu. We arrived at like 3 PM so really late in the day for brunch. None of the appetizers were hit for us. My soup wasn't a flavor I preferred but my lettuce wedge was good. Son got a burger with way too much bacon jam on it. Husband got pork miga tacos... so he was into brunch at 3 PM. Portions were huge. Service was a little bit of a miss. Drinks did not stay filled and they were not super busy to justify it. As you can see from the food, the dishes are beautiful as is the restaurant.

I ordered the shrimp and grits. Each ingredient stood on it's own and together a perfect combination. The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. While the menu is short, there's something for everyone. Thank you Smoke!
