Smith and Betts Barbecue

Ok this place is a little gem - actually A BIG one. You could easily miss it driving by. But the number of cars outside was a good indication they might be serving something delicious. Went in for lunch - the outside and inside looks like a diner and they did a good job on the decor. Staff is VERY friendly and welcoming- Had an eggroll to start. These are ADDICTIVE!! Truly a MUST TRY. I took the hot sauce with it. YUM. Had a 2 meat combo (Brisket & Ribs) with patatosalad and beans.. The meat was tender, moist and full of flavor. The beans and patatosalad are to die for. I have a whole new appreciation of BBQ - Fingerlicking good

Stopped for lunch and diner had changed hands. It’s a BBQ now and it some of the best tasting pulled pork that I’ve had. I recommend the loaded waffle fries with pulled pork. I’m going back for dinner and trying the brisket.

The young girl serving us was very sweet and very kind. That was the only pleasant part of my family’s experience. We waited over 40 minutes for our food to be served. Which we ordered two 3 meat plates. And two sides for each plate. The brisket was absurdly dry. The sausage was practically a couple of hotdogs and was also dry. Baked beans and green beans were straight out of a can. I don’t understand these reviews about it being the best BBQ they’ve had.

How we have not been here yet and live only a mile away I don’t know!!! Paige was our server and she was just the sweetest! We got the special taco salad and it was very good not dry, just right! We also got the brisket sandwich with fries! There was so much brisket on there it could have been a meal itself! We will definitely come back here again!

Visiting the state for a wedding and stopped in directly after arriving, Kaden was our host that and every time after (three visits). The Q was very good, the service was comfortable and friendly. A stop here is recommended.
