Small World Seafood

Not to be dramatic, but Small World Seafood completely changed our lives and the way we eat seafood. We started ordering a few months ago and I can't believe we didn't know about it sooner. Being a New England native who moved to Philadelphia, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find quality seafood here, but safe to say I was very wrong! The quality at Small World is beyond anything I've ever been able to buy, even from specialty fish shops. They always have amazing staples like Faroe Island Salmon, are able to source more unique seafood like octopus and sablefish on a regular basis, and every once in awhile you get the chance to try rarer fish like chutoro and otoro. My friends told me about Small World a couple years ago so I gave it a try. I am not exaggerating when I say it was life-changing. The seafood is restaurant quality and it has exposed me to fishes I would not have tried otherwise. It has upped our cooking game and I have not bought seafood anywhere else since. Bonus - They added a Queen Village stop close to our house!

I love getting fish from Robert and Andy and everyone else at Small World Seafood. Quality is top notch and pricing is very fair and they remember your name (and even the couple of times I’ve messed up and missed ordering deadlines etc they have been super accommodating..

I started ordering from Small World Seafood about 8 months ago and am now a consistent customer and order every Friday I am in the city. I cannot speak more highly of the quality of the seafood and friendly service for pick up. I have tried many varieties which have all been incredible tasting and fresh! Every time I pick up, I always am met with great customer service, including wonderful recommendations for cooking!
