Small Town Junction BBQ

This is my favorite stop in Coalmont. Their food is excellent, portions are good and price is reasonable. Just had their glazed ribs and they were very good. Place is very clean and comfortable. I was there the day they opened. Mad house and they still got it done. The area is starving for quality home cooking. The half rack of ribs was very meat-laden and much larger than the photo suggests. I'm big on portion size and and was not disappointed. Will try to plan trips through Coalmont so I can diner here.

Arrived at 11:10 there was 10 people seated countingn me and my wife two people left immediately. We placed our order by 11:15. It took a full hour for us to get two BBQ plates. I could understand if they were swamped it taking some time. But all the food we got should have already been prepared thrown on a plate and sent on our marry way being that it’s a bbq join that stuff should have been made well ahead of time. Food was good but it wasn’t worth waiting an hour for fried pickles and 2 bbq plates. Feel that their time management is poorly handled or they need better employees working. Will go back to try again just hope the wait time is way less.

Loaded nachos were amazing. Mom had loaded fries they looked great too. My wife had a big loaded baked potato and it was great too. Work give me stars if possible.

Ordered the BBQ fries it was a large plate, was more than I could eat and well worth the money.

My friend and I stopped here at the recommendation of one of the park rangers at Savage Gulf. We got take out and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were large. The lady who helped us and took our order was very kind and the service was quick. I would gladly come back if I was ever in the area again!
