Small Oven Pastry Shop & Porco's Porchetteria

Really disappointed with the porchetta and fagioli soup I ordered today. I’ve gotten this plenty of times in the past and it always comes with a healthy amount of porchetta. Today, there was not one single piece of porchetta and it was full of crushed tomatoes. I couldn’t take a single spoonful without getting massive pieces of tomato. After I removed all the tomato pieces my cup was barely more than halfway full. Food is way too expensive to not get what you ask for. I’d rather they up the price to $7 if it means getting a decent serving. I know times are hard for restaurants but skimping customers on food is not the way to retain business.

We had one Morty Long Boy sandwich — mortadella, fig jam, Gruyère, and greens — on a seeded roll as well as one Fiona Apple Mesclun Salad. Both were excellent, the salad was especially large and a half salad and half sandwich each fed 2 people. They have a variety of of gluten free (I am unsure of the risk for cross-contamination in the kitchen, if gluten allergy is severe) and/or vegetarian offerings Thank you, Porcos, we will be back! Restaurant is available in the Local by Toast app and has a points program (based off phone number) I went during the winter and take out seemed to be the only option. I am unsure if they have outside tables in warmer weather

Amazing sandwiches and bakery goods here! Really loved the Super Sammie and was able to show restraint and save half for tomorrow. Would definitely recommend the chocolate croissant also—very chocolatey and flaky. Great vibes from the staff and place overall. Glad I got to try here while in town!

Philly bros meets elevated pastries - it’s like the starburst contradictions commercial, but in the best way possible. This place is great! Sandwiches always slap, pastries amazing, ice cream too good, you can’t lose taking a stop by here!

There were so many Gobblers to try this year. Porco’s Turketta was substantial and the flavor on the smoked turkey was great.
