Smack Burgers

I tried Smack Burgers and had the Smack Burger. It was ok overall, but I honestly didn’t see what all the hype was about. The burger itself was pretty basic. Flat patties with grilled onions and cheese, but no real standout flavor. It didn’t taste bad, just nothing memorable. The fries reminded me of fries you’d get at the Oakland Coliseum, edible but nothing special. The strawberry shake was actually the highlight. It had real strawberry slices and tasted fresh. Easily the best item I tried. The side sauce was also pretty good. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The place has a black and yellow setup with a big screen TV, which gives it a cool, casual vibe. Overall, it was decent but not something I’d go out of my way for. posted on yelp and but i wanna share here too! came here for lunch and it was my first time trying!! all the decor was so cute and love the theme, it's got a really great unique atmosphere. i ordered the Baydestrian and a Smack fry and was literally blown away by the portion size lol, i took home half for lunch the next day, and it all reheated well so that was nice. everything was super yummy, the presentation was also good, and prices are super reasonable for food in the bay!! i saw on IG that they do seasonal milkshake flavors so i plan on going back next time im in the area to try whatever christmasy vibe they've got going on. super yum!!

Been coming here since they opened up for business and since I’ve been coming here the burgers have been really good. But, on Tuesday September 2nd 2025, the fries weren’t their original French fries they were plain and tasteless, they weren’t seasoned nor did they have the batter on the fries they use to fry them in on the fries just plain. The burger wasn’t good either something told me not to go there and waste my $20 there yesterday, next time I’ll follow my intuition. I ordered the Baydestrian burger, it was plain no seasoning and not as good as they would usually be. I was highly disappointed because I could had just went over to nations and probably gotten a better burger and fries or just settled for round table. I don’t know who the cooks were back there yesterday at about 3:00 PM

The burger patties are so thin they have no meat taste and taste like the burned edges of a real burger. The frozen fries though fried in beef tallow lack the extra step of being cut fresh. They use the better quality of frozen onion rings which is nice. Milkshakes taste like soft serve. They are hiring good people as their service was nice and pleasurable. Too bad you can't eat service.

SF Chronicle rated its Smackritto breakfast burrito the best in the region so we went to check it out--the burrito is delicious and huge! We'll definitely be back!
