I had the brisket sandwich at Slow Fire BBQ and it was absolutely amazing, packed with flavor and perfectly tender. It came out really quick, which was a nice surprise. You can really tell they take pride in their smoking process. I also got a side of tater tots, which were crispy, golden, and delicious. Great food, great quality, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Caught the Slow Fire BBQ food truck and ordered the brisket sandwich—wow. Perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor. Exactly what you hope for when you see a BBQ food truck. I’ll be chasing this one down again.

Where do I begin? My son and I have a tradition where we take monthly trips to new barbecue restaurants. Today we hopped in the car and drove an hour and a half down to Savannah to check out slow fire! We got there an hour early and had a great chance to talk with both of the owner and his wife. Wonderful human beings that have a passion for what they do. The food, oh my God, the food. They don’t typically serve beef ribs on Thursdays, but we pre-ordered some to make sure we had a chance to try them. So juicy, full of flavor and beautifully rendered fat. I’ve been trying to catch these guys for a full year as I travel back and forth to Savannah - I finally made the connection! Amazing!!! The brisket was incredible, the sauce was as well. Everything was just as I had hoped! Let’s do this again soon! 😉

I’ve tried all the BBQ spots in Savannah and Slowfire is the #1 by a long shot! Definitely worth making a trip out to the truck. Follow them on instagram. I recommend the Dino Rib or the beef brisket. So tender and juicy.
