Slim Chickens

The food was delicious! Great portions, nice and fresh - and a large menu to choose from and customize. The service was amazing, crystal took care of us and was so sweet doing it. Extremely clean and well kept restaurant, only complaint is that the establishment itself was a little chilly.

The chicken bites meal was amazing but they lost a star due to the jar dessert! I gave Service 1 star because of the drive thru employees. The drive thru sign shows the images of the jar desserts, I asked the employee if the chocolate one had whip cream, I was told no. Upon getting to the drive thru I was handed a chocolate jar with 2 layers of whipped cream, the employee said the chicken was going to be a minute and slammed the door. After being handed my chicken I asked if there were any chocolate jars with no whipped cream, she said no then stared at me like I was stupid for asking such a question. Had the classic meal on this visit. 4 tenders, fries. Toast and a drink. $9.99 for this meal with one dipping sauce. Extra sauces cost you .39. Tenders were hot and fresh, but nothing special about them stood out. Fries were ok. I had ranch dipping sauce and it’s nothing special.

I never knew this place was in pikeville and I had been driving from VA near the state line for over 2 years! What a hidden gem! Now granted i was driving to the airport which is north of downtown pikeville, but.... amazing. Closest thing you can ask for to Zaxbys or Hooeys. Great staff, fresh made lemonade, jar desserts etc.
