Customer Reviews
A welcome addition to the Boulder pizza scene. The Slice House provides several styles of gourmet pizza including a truly legit Detroit style with a solid cheese wall. In addition they also have traditional round, and grandma style square as well. Premade slices are available at the counter and in addition they offer whole pizzas custom ordered and a limited traditional Italian pizza place menu (think pasta, salad, cheese bread, wings ect). The atmosphere is no frills( almost has a fast food vibe), but the pizza is amazing.
Went in with high expectations since this place is new and presents itself as a higher-end pizza spot. We tried a variety of items, a specialty pizza, pepperoni pizza, deep dish, and a meatball sub to really get a feel for the food. While the restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly, the food unfortunately didn’t match the price. The deep dish was cold and doughy in the middle, some toppings like the bacon seemed undercooked, and the pepperoni tasted very processed. The meatball sub was also disappointing and didn’t taste fresh. Overall, the quality felt more like basic pizza-by-the-slice than an elevated pizza place. For the price, it just wasn’t worth it and there wasn’t anything we tried that would bring me back.
Great food! Looking for Pizza that meets your East Coast standards-this is definitely an option! Great options for indoor/outdoor seating. Staff are attentive and friendly!
Great crust, nice people. A little pricy, but I think ordering slices would have been more cost effective. I liked the little grill that kept the crust out of any pooling grease, great idea for serving.
Truly an exceptional pizza restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. I loved the Motorhead slice with a Detroit style crust. The crust was crispy and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband loved the sweet Gino and ended up going back for another slice. You can tell love and care is put into their food. The staff were incredible and very friendly. I would highly recommend!
