Slabtown Coffee

This local coffee shop has amazing tomato basil bagel. We came on last Friday of the month where they have art displays and they invite local artists & musicians & are open till 8. But amazing food, and amazing people.

Ordered a muffin which had just come in from the bakery delivery to the coffee shop and a large “for here” latte with whole milk. They offer a 20 ounce quad shot drink which is unusual, however, the milk was poorly aerated and just dumped into the cup, making a thin and un appealing drink. The muffin was dense, large, and dry. The barista seemed happy that it was slow, and I would guess based on my experience, it will remain that way most days.

Unexpectedly delightful find in a small town! Coffee is flavorful and the coffee flavor isn't washed out in handcrafted drinks. Welcomed warmly on each visit. Can't wait to go back when I'm in town next time!

The owner has a real attitude problem and has offended me and three other friends of mine on separate occasions with her comments and overall demeanor. She really needs to work on her customer service if she wants to retain local business. That being said her coffee is fantastic but I won’t be returning because there are several other coffee shops in town with FAR better attitudes towards there customers.

A delightful new addition to downtown Cottage Grove, this quaint coffee shop features delicious coffee drinks, pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, cheesecake, and offers Prince Puckler's ice cream too! Nice indoor seating area as well as outdoor seating for enjoying your hot or cold beverages and snacks. Highly recommend.
