I recently ordered a cheeseburger with fried okra as my side. The total came to about $16 with a drink (around $14 without). The burger itself was fine, but I was disappointed with the portion of okra. I received fewer than 12 pieces, which felt extremely small for the price being charged. The burger was a little salty, but the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onion helped balance the flavor. Overall, the food was decent, but the portion size of the okra did not feel like a good value for the price. I hope the restaurant considers improving their serving sizes so customers feel like they’re getting better value for what they’re paying.

I'm not sure why the other reviews are five stars. We ate there a couple weeks ago and the food was horrible. The green beans couldn't even eat they tasted so bad. we ordered fried mushrooms and got them about 3 seconds before food and they were slimy and luke warm. Just not good. Ok update 8/8/25. We tried them again. We got the fried squash, wings and a burger. The burgers are definitely handmade in house very good. The wings had good flavor good size and were cooked well. The fried squash was just okay. The sweet tea had a weird flavor so we swapped it out for another drink because it tasted funny.

A very clean restaurant, big portions for a very reasonable price . Hot food that is fresh, homemade sauces for dipping and dressings! My daughter got the wings and they are huge wings that filled her up My husband always adds a extra burger patty to his burgers and it was juicy and seasoned amazing I got the steak tips over broccoli and sweet potato fries it was absolutely amazing. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and so so so good. The gator items were tender , not greasy at all and not overly battered with breading. The gizzards could be a meal in itself it's a huge portion. The onion rings were okay. I live a block away from this restaurant so I would totally go again!

We stopped here on our way from PA -> Siesta Key and very much enjoyed it! The staff was so sweet and hospitable and the food was great. We even had a rainbow over our visit. 🌈

Just passing through never ate here before. Nice waitress and the baked potato is very big. However, the taste is bad. It appears they use the same fried oil for everything they cook there.. the catfish smelled bad. They broccoli had an after taste like maybe old dish water got in. My partner got the country fried steak. The gravy tasted like flour and the " steak" was completely microwaved. You can taste it. I would not recommend this place. Sorry. Just being honest
